Work of the Devil: 2020 Pandemic

As a Christian I believe that this COVID-19 pandemic definitely is a conspiracy. As a more worldly principle, coming out of personal experience, since I grew up in a East European socialist country ruled by a communist dictatorship, witnessing the poverty, the mass manipulation, the terror and the killing, whenever I see capitalism under attack in any form I do not pay any attention to it, as I know that the Marxist propaganda, just like the devil, mixes the truth with lies. Therefore I would never consider believing a documentary that puts a capitalist succes as Bill Gates along with a communist like Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus of the WHO.

The spiritual battle must have effects not only on vertical level but on horizontal level too, otherwise it is absolutely ineffective. If we do not act courageously on the horizontal level according to our belief and instruction how are we His disciples? How can we claim that we have a vertical connection with our Maker if we do not act accordingly?

The devil is indeed behind all this, but he also uses men and women who are of him, who serve him, who put his plans in actions. And even if they dont know it and see it, as they are spiritually blinded, that does not excuse us not confronting them.

Therefore, if they are of the devil, acting on horizontal level so should we. And by that I mean that if they conquered the institutions and secularized the world, we should at least attempt to reverse that process, not to promote a fatal dooms day that we dont know when it will be coming.

Actually, that should be a massive alarm sign. It is possible that what we actually put on display is not obedience to God even if we too think so. It is possible that we actually use obedience to God as an excuse, and it is circumstancial evidence that we are in fear or demoralised. And that is not right!

I completely disagree with any pastor who promotes obedience to the government, especially with regards to congregating as I remeber Christians who would congregate secretly under persecution and threat of death from the early days of Christianity. Remember the Roman empire? Remeber Nero, the Colosseum, the lions, the human torches?

Are we so weak? Are we doing the right thing? Should we be more outspoken or should we keep quiet? Do we stand for the truth or not when acting in one way or another? Should we stand still or should we act? Should we only pray and have devotional time privately, hoping that this is going to go away without our contribution? Well, the devil is obviously ACTING. SO SHOULD WE! And the least we can do is to speak the truth at alm times.

"I don't know" is not an option anymore. It is eluding and ahvoiding taking responsibility. I remember a very popular heretic who went on a worldwide popular TV show and when asked sensitive questions by the host he would start his answers with "I dont know...". In a otherwise well deserved rebuke, a well respected preacher then put it plainly: "Give us some men who KNOW the truth!". I would add to that "Give us some men who are not afraid to speak".
